With deepest sorrow and sense of great
loss, we mourn the sudden loss of Carol Beth Harris. Carol will be
greatly missed by her friends and family, but especially by her beloved
champion show horse Regency Bay (Buckets).
Carol spent her last day doing what she
loved - seeing *Menai Mister Mostyn's (Spencer) first born foal,
photographing John and Margaret Almond's ponies in a snow covered field
and watching their twin nieces Meg and Emily ride their ponies. She
eagerly awaited the day she and her daughter would ride together.
May they ride forever in God's green pastures.

We, her friends,
promise life long love and care for Buckets and to fulfill her dreams
for future generations of Spencer's offspring. Her love and
enthusiasm for the breeding of performance horses and ponies will be
carried on in her memory
A 4ft tall bronze statue of a horse was erected at her parents home in Michigan, where Carol grew up. |
